Installation Tips
- Qualified installation: THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.
- Power safety: WARNING: Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining fixture. No user serviceable parts inside.
- Wiring and grounding: Wire in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required for safety. Use UL listed wire connectors.
- Mounting orientation: Orient the wall mount box with “TOP” pointing up. Secure it to a sturdy mounting surface using appropriate hardware and use the leveling bubble to level the fixture.
- Hands-free wiring: Slide the stainless-steel tether into the key-hole slot before wiring. Place the wired fixture over the wall mount box, then tighten the top screws followed by the lower screws.
- Weatherproof sealing: Seat all gaskets properly and tighten all screws firmly. Apply weatherproof silicone sealant around the wall mount box gasket and/or junction box, and seal all plugs and unused conduit entries.
- Photocell voltage: Use 120V supply power for this /PCS model; the included photocell is only compatible with 120V.
- Cleaning: Do not clean or maintain while the fixture is energized. Allow it to cool enough to touch, then clean the glass lens with a non-abrasive glass cleaning solution. Do not open the fixture to clean the LED or touch the LED.
