Installation Tips
- Read and retain the installation instructions before installing the fixture. Wiring must comply with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes, and proper grounding is required.
- Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining the fixture. Min 90°C supply conductors are required.
- Secure the housing back plate to the mounting surface or junction box and use UL listed wire connectors according to NEC and local codes.
- For wet-location compliance, properly seal the fixture. Apply silicone caulking between the mounting surface and back housing and around the sides of the housing. Silicone all plugs and unused conduit entries.
- Make sure all gaskets are properly seated and all screws are inserted and tightened for proper weatherproofing.
- Do not use an electric generator to test LED fixtures.
