Installation Tips
- Choose the wiring diagram for either one cable entering the box or two cables entering the box.
- For one cable entering the box, the LINE cable brings power to the GFCI.
- For two cables entering the box, the LINE cable brings power to the GFCI and the LOAD cable feeds power to other receptacle(s).
- When using one cable entering the box, the yellow sticker remains in place to cover the LOAD terminals.
- For side wire connections, wrap wire clockwise, 2/3 of the way around the screw.
- For back wire connections, insert wire to the bottom of hole and tighten down screw.
- Use 1 in (25.4 mm) wire length for side wire connection.
- Use 5/8 in (16 mm) wire length for back wire connection.
